Join My Independence Day Law of Attraction Quest

Posted on June 4th, 2008

This is a really special post for me. I have been married to my beautiful wife Sally for the past 17 years and she has been my constant support. When I finished my teaching degree she agreed to shift from her family so that I could teach. She was just getting her finance career really going and we had our first baby. Once again she sacrificed what she wanted and stayed at home for the next 8 years to raise our three children until they went to school. From that stage Sally has been in a number of different jobs and has recently started to achieve a great deal of respect for her ability in her current job. Despite that she has not found real happiness in her field of work until now. I have spoken about there being a time in your life when you may need to take a calculated risk, that time has come for Sally.

You see Sally resigned from her secure job and her last day will be the 4th of July, Independence Day. It will truly be Independence Day for her since she will leave her j.o.b and start a new career as a trainer. This is something that has always excited Sally and it is a field that she will thrive in. Unlike a “job” she will not receive a fortnightly income, but it will be up to her to generate a client base from which she will earn an outstanding income. For Sally to earn an equivalent income from this job she must have a client base of 30. Anything over that number will be wonderful.

You might ask why I am telling you all of this? The reason is that I want to see Sally exceed that magic number of 30 clients by Independence Day. Imagine what it would be like for her to have covered her current year’s income before she starts her training in a full time capacity.

Sally and I have been focussing on her success in this field for sometime now and we know that our positive energy has been flowing out into the universe, but imagine if we could have your help and positive energy influencing Sally’s career move.

How To Use The Law of Attraction With Your Family?

Posted on May 31st, 2008

Family comes first and foremost to me because in the end familymy ultimate gift to the world are my children. I truly believe that if more parents embrace this attitude then the next generation will be something exceptional. So how can you start to use the Law of Attraction within your family to attract the life that you want for yourself and your family?

I am going to provide a list of ways that you can implement the Law of Attraction easily into your family life.

  1. Never use the word “can’t”. Always encourage the notion that anything is possible
  2. Play games that encourage your children to develop their visualisation skills (pictionary)
  3. Take a photo of your family together as a happy family unit. Enlarge it and place it in your family room.
  4. Create a vision board for the family and each family member. Place the family vision board in an area of the house where it will be seen regularly. Place the individual family members vision boards in their room
  5. Subscribe to magazines that excite the children’s imagination
  6. Have a family get together each week to discuss the goals of the family for the week and long term
  7. Make a plan that involves each family member working towards the families weekly goals
  8. Eat dinner together and let each member of the family tell you two things that happened during the day that fills them full of gratitude
  9. Sponsor a child so that you are helping others and secondly, so that your children and you are always grateful for what you currently have in life
  10. Whenever a family member speaks negatively ask them to reword their statement
  11. Create some ‘worry beads’ similiar to what Greek men carry and every time a family member gets tense then play with the beads. Tension will quickly low the level of vibration amongst a family.
  12. If you watch a DVD then make it a comedy or an uplifting movie
  13. Try using some incents in your house to create a calm environment
  14. Make your behaviour such that your children can model you and learn
  15. At every opportunity encourage your children
  16. When punishing your children, remain calm and encourage them to do better next time
  17. Do not focus on their mistakes but on what the solution might be
  18. Teach your family members the power of gratitude by simply being thankful for everything in their lives
  19. If you go to your child’s room and say goodnight then read a book to them and ask them to describe the characters (improving their visualisation skills)
  20. Instead of reading a story ask them to describe what their day will be like tomorrow

This is a simple list of twenty things that you can implement into your family life immediately, that don’t have a monetary value, but can have an incredible impact on your lives.

How to Crank Up The Law of Attraction By Being Grateful?

Posted on May 28th, 2008

I believe the most important factor in the success of a blog is that you get to know the person who contributes to it. In this case that is me, John Edwards. My wife and I, live each day being grateful for everything we have in life. I would like to share some of those things with you:

Will The Law of Attraction Work If You Watch Too Much Television?

Posted on May 26th, 2008

televisionBeing a parent I am always aware of how much television my children watch and for that matter how much I watch. I would say that they probably watch about two hours television each night. Far too much and I will need to address this. How much television does your family watch? An even more important question is - what are they watching?

The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus on consistently will be attracted to you. This is a wonderful law if you are attracting positive thoughts, but what if you are not? What if you and your family are watching television shows that are all projecting negative thoughts? It really is something that you must consider if you want your family to achieve all the things in life that they deserve.

In society now we turn on the television and we watch whatever is on, we don’t even have to like what it is. We channel surf and have a variety of images and emotions entering our subconscious mind. It would be alright if those images were all uplifting and full of positive thoughts, but they are not.

Take the nightly news as an example, surely we should be letting our children watch the events that are occurring around the world? What is the role of the media? I will tell you why - it is to show sensational stories that are there to shock, get your attention and effect your emotions. The opening news stories are nearly always projecting a negative message - murder, rape, banks collasping, interest rates rising and it continues. Think about the definition for the Law of Attraction - whatever you focus on will be attracted to you. Do you want to be focussing on these stories?

How Do You Use the Law of Attraction To Overcome Any Hurdles?

Posted on May 25th, 2008

I am writing this article after spending the previous two hours with my son trying to get our desktop computer to work. This particular computer is very important since it has all of my emails prior to me buying a notebook computer. How can I solve this hurdle by using the Law of Attraction?

Have any of you ever had computer problems? In our case, the computer boots up normally and then gets to the Windows XP startup menu, you see the little boxes zoom across the screen and then that is it. The computer restarts and repeats the process again. In my opinion nothing is more frustrating than a computer that for no apparent reason refuses to work.

You might ask, what did we do? We took action and set out a plan of action:

  1. We took the side off of the computer and wiped the inside of the machine
  2. Next we removed the RAM and any other cards, wiped them and reseated them on the motherboard
  3. We booted the computer and the problem repeated itself
  4. Now we looked at the software and reset the BIOS to its default settings
  5. Again, no luck. There was only one option and that was to use the Windows XP CD and try to perform a repair
  6. That is what we are currently in the process of completing (we are not sure whether it will write over the emails). It is a calculated risk
  7. It is now several hours since I started this article and the repair process has worked and I can now access my emails. Success
