Never Ever Give Up On Your Dreams - Look At John Dane

How many times have you allowed your dreams to be beaten out of you? Don’t let it ever happen again! There is no need for it happen. Set your goals and go for them - keep them close to your heart and don’t ever give up, don’t ever let external circumstances change your goals, don’t ever listen to anyone who doubts your ability to reach your dreams. Dreams are what make us unique as humans and each and everyone of us is entitled to achieve all our dreams in life. It is not a priviledge! It is your right! Just ask American sailor John Dane who is currently competing in the Olympic Games in China.

After 40 years of trying to make it onto the US Olympic Team, John Dane, has finally made it to Beijing.
How long would you be willing to hold onto your dreams?
John Dane tried out for the 1968, 1972, 1976 and 1984 Olympic teams achieving a second, third and two fourth places in the Olympic Trials. That was not the end of his efforts, he tried out in 1996 and 2004 but yet again was unsuccessful. John Dane deserved a gold medal for his extreme persistance.
How long would you be willing to hold onto your dreams?
The universe is a wonderful thing and if you hold onto your dreams for long enough then it will find a way to deliver your dreams to you. John’s daughter Sally married a top sailor named Austin Sperry. Not only did his daughter find a husband but John found a sailing partner.
John and his son-in-law Austin made it into the US Olympic team to go to China. John is 58 and finally achieving his dream to participate in the Olympic Games.
How long would you be willing to hold onto your dreams?
Never let them go - focus on them always - and never ever let anything or anyone stop you from dreaming.
