Goal Setting - The Right Way For The Law of Attraction
Posted on June 10th, 2008
In my previous post I talked about whether the Law of Attraction was contrary to goal setting - it isn’t, but you must be careful of your emotional reaction if you don’t meet all of your deadlines. Now that we have established that goal setting is something that you should definitely being doing - we need to look at how to properly set goals. You don’t want to be putting enormous effort into goal setting and doing it incorrectly because you will never see the results you want.
How many of you have set goals like:
- I want to lose weight
- I will be financially free
- I will travel around the world
The goals themselves are not a problem, but the way they are stated is. The phrases, “I will” and “I want” imply that you are reaching out for your goals; that they are somewhere in your future. The problem stating your goals in this way is that they are always somewhere out of your reach. If this is the way that you have previously stated your goals then you need to make a change immediately.

Law of Attraction Vs Goal Setting
Posted on June 9th, 2008
There has been some debate as to whether goal setting and the Law of Attraction are contradictory. How can you set a specific goal and then add a time deadline, but still let the universe provide it to you in its own time frame?
The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus on becomes your reality. One of the keys to the Law of Attraction is that you must become laser focused on your goals and then attach massive emotion to them so that you generate positive vibrations that are sent out into the universe. Now if you look at those requirements then goal setting is absolutely essential for the Law of Attraction to work for you.
In my free Law of Attraction eCourse, I explore the steps required to create your own goals so that you can release the power of the Law of Attraction.
Now here is where the contradiction can come into the picture. I feel that it is absolutely essential that all goals that you set must have a time deadline. A deadline gives you accountability and will push you to achieve results by that date. The question is - what happens if you don’t quite achieve all of those goals by the required deadline?

The Law of Attraction and Michel de Montaigne
Posted on June 7th, 2008
I was relaxing a little on my computer yeterday and decided to look for some quotes that I might be able to add to my growing list when I come across this one by Michel de Montaigne:
“Nothing fixes a thing so intensely in the memory as the wish to forget it.”
It really caught me by surprise. First of all I have never heard of Michel de Montaigne and secondly, the insight that he packed into a couple of words was amazing and so pertinant to the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction states that we must focus with laser precision on what we want to achieve. In the same way if we use the Law of Attraction to focus on what we don’t want, we will get that to. So we must be so very careful with what we think about and if you are new to this concept then it will be difficult for a while.

How Is The Law of Attraction Like Moving Through The Clouds?
Posted on June 6th, 2008
It is interesting the thoughts that pop into your head early in the morning, but it occurred to me that the Law of Attraction and life for that matter is like moving through clouds as a plane takes off and lands. This may sound crazy, but read on and you will see that I am right.
You see I live to travel, but I am not a great flyer which makes life interesting.
I am okay in the plane when it has reached its cruising altitude and it is all smooth flying. I can sit back and relax, watch a movie or go to sleep if the person in front of me does not have their seat down. The take off and landing are a different story.
Most often than not I travel with my wife because what is the point of travelling if you can not do it with someone you love? Thankfully for me, she is a great flyer, as to are my children. As the plane is taxiing down the runway and you can hear the engines starting to rev, you will find my finger nails either firmly embedded into the seat or my wife’s hand.
